Adding a beautiful sunroom to your property can enhance it's value and it's appearance, making it a worthwhile project to undertake. Sunrooms are also called patio enclosures or patios and are designed to let in maximum sunlight. Sunrooms can be made out of many different materials including brick, PVC, wood, and breeze block.

You can choose from several different styles of sunrooms:

Seasonal Sunrooms:

Seasonal sunrooms are designed with single pane glass windows and screens that can begin at the knee-wall or span the entire length. This type cannot be heated or air conditioned and is only usable from spring to fall.

Screened Patios Sunrooms:

Screened patio sunrooms are relatively inexpensive and usable from springtime up until the fall months. It's walls are screened so that only air can get into the porches sunrooms but not insects.

Four Season Sunrooms:

Four season sunrooms or solariums can have added heat and air conditioning, making them usable during any time of the year and any season. They may or may not be built with a knee-wall and full length glass panes. The roof for this type of sunroom normally is sold in straight or curved shape.

Brick or wood is normally used to build the knee wall of the sun room which is the main base or support. Clear glass is used for the windows of sunroom additions, while the roof is most often made of a type of plastic that will allow sunlight to pass thorough.
