Windows and doors come in many shapes and sizes and can be made from several different materials. Custom windows and doors will add a very nice touch to your home or project. Several types of doors can be installed in your home such as:
French Doors:
French doors are doors with glass panes that cover most of the length of the door.
Sliding Doors:
This type of door usually comes in pairs and slides open horizontally. The doors are mounted on a sliding track so that the doors can be easily opened by sliding them sideways. Most sliding doors are wooden doors or glass doors.
Pocket Doors:
This type of door is designed to be just accessible as a standard door without taking up any space. It opens and closes by sliding into a panel opening in the wall and is best suited to a smaller home.
As there are many different locations in a house or building, you will need to select a door that is appropriate for each area. Patio doors are appropriate as exterior doors for porches and sunrooms, where as you would probably want to purchase sliding doors for the interior of your home.
